How to Make HOT MILK CAKE (TORTA AL LATTE CALDO)

Hot Milk Cake is a fluffy dessert that is perfect for breakfast or snack.

It’s super easy and super quick to make, and it’s perfect if you’re in the mood for a real pampering treat.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 200 grams milk (1 cup)
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 grams (1/2 cup) of brown sugar
  • 40 grams (1/3 cup) of extra virgin olive oil
  • 200 grams (1 1/4 cups) of flour
  • 1 tbsp of baking powder

 

DIRECTIONS:

In a bowl, work the eggs with the sugar with a whisk until the mixture is puffy and fluffy.

Add the oil and continue to whisk.

Heat the milk with the lemon peel until it comes to a boil and then pour it into the mixture, taking care not to drop the peel inside!

Add the flour and baking powder and mix well until the mixture is smooth and without lumps.

Transfer the dough into a 9 inches cake pan and bake in static mode for 40 minutes at 350 F.
