Old-Fashioned PASTINA WITH CREAMY CHEESE

Today I show you how to prepare pasta with cheese for children.

Who among you as a child has not tried pasta with cheese?

Many of us still today would gladly taste a few spoonfuls; with my advice, this first course will become your children’s favourite lunch.

It is very simple to make, excellent for providing your child with a healthy meal, rich in nutrients but very quick.

The pasta that is most suitable for this recipe is the one of small size, such as butterflies, stars or dots.

The result will be a creamy dish that will make adults and children alike lick their lips.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3-4 tsp of pastina (any type of very small pasta)
  • 2 creamy cheese (Formaggino) ***
  • 1/2 tbsp of grated Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese

DIRECTIONS:

Boil the water for the pasta, add the pasta and let it cook.

In the meantime, put the creamy cheese (Formaggino) and a spoonful of the cooking water from the pasta in a dish and crush the cheese to create a sauce.

Drain the pasta and stir it into the dish together with the cheese.

Sprinkle with a little grated cheese.

In Italy this is the formaggino.

You need to use two formaggini for this recipe.

If you can’t find it in stores that sell Italian products, you can use a soft cheese.
