Parmesan cream, easy and quick to make, is a tasty sauce loved by children and adults alike and is mainly prepared to accompany pasta dishes and appetizers.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 1/4 cups of whole milk
- 1 cup of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
- 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of butter
- nutmeg to taste (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
Add the sifted flour to the butter and stir with a whisk.
Add the milk, stirring constantly over low heat.
Once the mixture has thickened, remove it from the heat.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and nutmeg.
Your sauce is ready.
