Italian Pasta Recipes


Here is an idea to satisfy even the most difficult palates with a simple recipe rich in flavor.

A preparation that enhances the products made in Italy and that in a short time you can serve without any particular effort.

The marshal’s pasta is a secret weapon to be unleashed when necessary and must absolutely be included in the list of last minute recipes.

It represents a creamy and delicious first course that will make your mouth water.






  • 12 oz of penne or rigatoni pasta
  • 2 cups of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 3 oz of pancetta dolce (sweet bacon)
  • 1/2 cup of whipping cream
  • extra virgin oil to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • basil to taste



Preparing the marshal’s pasta is really easy.

First, sauté, in a skillet, the finely sliced onion with the oil.

When the onion has darkened slightly, add the diced bacon and let it cook for 1 minute.

Then, add the tomato sauce, stir and let it cook for about 5 minutes, after adding a pinch of salt and a sprinkling of pepper.

Meanwhile, while the sauce is seasoning with the bacon, cook the pasta in a pot.

Season with salt and drain the pasta al dente.

The marshal’s pasta is almost ready.

Now, you need to add the pasta to the sauce and sauté.

In the meantime, to thicken and make the first course even tastier, pour in the fresh cream which will be the binding agent for all the ingredients.

Finally, serve with a basil leaf to decorate and give the dish that extra touch of fragrance.

The original recipe calls for the addition of bacon and for those with a sweet tooth it is possible to enrich the dish with black olives.

For vegetarians, however, it is possible to create a version without bacon, perhaps opting only for black olives.
