If you love Sicilian desserts, you absolutely must try this Sicilian version of tiramisu….obviously with ricotta cheese!!!

Sicilian Ricotta Tiramisu

- 8 or 9 inch Baking Pan
Ingredients
- 3 Eggs
- 1 1/2 cups Sweetened Ricotta Cheese (add 3 tsp of Sugar and mix)
- 14 Ladyfinger Cookies
- 3 cups Coffee
- 1 tsp Rum
- Bitter Cocoa
Instructions
- Beat egg whites until stiff, add ricotta cheese (sweetened), and egg yolks.
- Wet the cookies in coffee laced with rum and cover a baking pan (8-9 inches) with them.
- Add a layer of cream, make another layer of cookies and coffee, top with cream and dust with plenty of bitter cocoa.
- Let rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
