If you love Sicilian desserts, you absolutely must try this Sicilian version of tiramisu….obviously with ricotta cheese!!!

  • 8 or 9 inch Baking Pan


  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Sweetened Ricotta Cheese (add 3 tsp of Sugar and mix)
  • 14 Ladyfinger Cookies
  • 3 cups Coffee
  • 1 tsp Rum
  • Bitter Cocoa


  • Beat egg whites until stiff, add ricotta cheese (sweetened), and egg yolks.
  • Wet the cookies in coffee laced with rum and cover a baking pan (8-9 inches) with them.
  • Add a layer of cream, make another layer of cookies and coffee, top with cream and dust with plenty of bitter cocoa.
  • Let rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
