Broccoli and sausage, the perfect marriage of two ingredients.

Today, we propose this combination by way of a mouth-watering white lasagna.

A creative idea to not always prepare the classic lasagna with meat sauce!

  • 6 lasagna sheets
  • 17 oz of broccoli
  • 14 oz of pork sausage
  • 1 cup of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 cup of béchamel sauce
  • oil, salt, pepper and onion to taste

Boil the broccoli in plenty of boiling salted water for about 10 minutes, drain and sauté in a pan with a clove of garlic sautéed in a little evo oil.

Discard the garlic and blend the broccoli, then keep aside.

In the same pan, sauté the onion with a little oil, then brown the sausage over high heat until it becomes crispy.

Spread a light layer of béchamel sauce on the bottom of the baking dish (7.87″ x 9.84″ – height 3 inches) and arrange the lasagna sheets until the entire surface is covered.

Pour more béchamel sauce, broccoli cream, sausage, Parmesan cheese and lasagna sheets again.

Continue until all ingredients are used up finishing with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese and bake at 350 F for 20/25 minutes.

Buon appetito!!!
